If you were a 13-year-old emerging goth/emo girl... where would you buy your clothes?

That sounds very wrong.

I'm asking because I want to know where to get a gift certificate for my niece who is the aforementioned goth-to-be.

I like to think that I'm a reasonably intelligent person so why is it that I can never figure out those pictures at the cash that tell me which way to turn the stripe on my debit card? I have a 50-50 chance of getting it right even if I guess but I'm pretty sure that I'm running about 10-20%.

All My Children, the soap opera, is adding a trans character who will be going through her MTF transition as part of the story arc. Apparently, this is a first for network TV.
